Breast imaging with different modalities, interventional procedures, the facts of breast cancer, along with different types of breast lumps and conditions, treatment options, breast reconstructions are presented. The Bone Density Test

This course is intended to develop the knowledge of radiographers and bone density technologists. This course will describe the disease of osteoporosis and the known risk factors.  It will describe the methods of testing for the diagnosis of osteoporosis and explain the results of a Bone Densitometry examination.  It will discuss the lifestyle choices that affect osteoporosis and medications available for the treatment. This course is a good review for technologists taking the ARRT registry in Bone Densitometry.
