Breast Cancer - The Facts
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge of radiographers and mammography technologists. This course will explain what is breast cancer and the different types of breast cancer along with the known risk factors of breast cancer. It will discuss the methods of breast cancer diagnosing and the types of treatments available including the side effects. The course will discuss recurrence and remission. The course also explores breast cancer from the patient’s aspect including the support groups available.
This course includes Breast Cancer - The Facts You Need to Know about Diagnosis, Treatment, and Beyond by Pat Kelly With Mark Levine, MD as the textbook and a posttest with 60 multiple-choice questions.
